Child Nutrition & Healthy Eating:

Champaign Unit 4 School District: 

  • Unit 4 is offering free meals to children and teens 18 and younger this summer through the Summer Meal Program. The meals will be offered from June through July at various Unit 4 locations. Breakfast and lunch will be served.  See the link at the bottom of the page for a comprehensive list of locations.

Urbana School District #116: 

  • USD 116 is offering free meals to children and teens 18 and younger this summer through the Summer Meal Program. The meals will be offered from June through the middle of July at various USD 116 locations, no registration needed. Breakfast and lunch will be served. See the links at the bottom of the page for a comprehensive list of locations.

Champaign Urbana Public Health District:

  • The Champaign Urbana Public Health District is offering meals between May 31 and August 9. The meals will be provided at 201 W. Kenyon Road in Champaign. Breakfast will be served from 9:00-10:30 a.m., and lunch will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. To obtain further information, call (217) 531-4300.

Candlewood Estates:

  • Starting on June 3, free lunches will be provided to all children in Mahomet from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. The meal is available for pickup at the office of Candlewood Estates, located on 808 N. Prairieview Road. For any further questions, contact the office at Candlewood Estates at (217) 586-4937.

Rantoul City Schools:

  • Meals will be available at J.W. Eater Junior High, Northview Elementary School, and Broadmeadow Elementary School.
