Our volunteers are awesome and amazing, and we can’t thank them enough! Our nonprofit exists and continues to grow because of the kindness and generosity of the people in Champaign-Urbana!
Food sorting (Biweekly, normally Wednesday between 3-4:30 pm): Volunteers repackage food into individual bags and prepare bins full of bags for each school. Our nonprofit is unique because kids are welcome to help sort food! It is important for kids to gain an awareness of community issues and learn that they have the power to help and create change! Many teens from middle school and high schools assist us to help fulfill their honor society service hours because our sorts are a fun and easy way to serve.

School delivery Volunteers: We have volunteers who deliver the bags of food to the social workers at each school. Even if your school already has a delivery person, having a back up person is helpful. If you are interested in this opportunity, please email us!
In addition, we are looking for businesses, clubs, and churches that are able to have food drives or fundraisers. We can always use people who have experience with finances, graphic design, fundraising, and administrative tasks. If you have an idea of how to help, please email us!
