2020 has been a tough year for our community, especially for those families we serve. Just before the pandemic hit, we were serving more than 1000 kids in 36 schools and childhood programs. And the number of food-insecure children in the community is expected to increase over the coming months. Your support is essential to our being able to serve the needs of these children in Champaign.
Feeding Our Kids would not be able to reach all these children without you, our donors & volunteers. With your help, we are able to provide nutritious, easy-to-prepare food. Especially during this difficult time, much of this food is also used for other family members, like younger siblings. This extra nutrition that we provide helps to promote their mental and physical health, learning, and growth.
