The Champaign Church of Christ gave FOK its first official home. The church community has generously provided four rooms that we use for storage and for our sorting activities. As of summer 2024 we are moving out of the church and inside of Eastern Illinois Foodbank.
Two Men and a Truck help us each month by loading our bulk purchases of food from Sam’s Club, bringing it to our two packing locations, and helping unload it inside.

In the fall of 2021, the Hope Center, operated by Vineyard Church, began serving as our secondary storage and packing site. Bags for Urbana schools are now packed at the Hope Center.
We are a partner agency of Eastern Illinois Foodbank. The foodbank is where much of our food comes from. The foodbank supports Feeding Our Kids financially via a partnership grant. Starting in the summer of 2024 Feeding Our Kids is moving our packing operations inside of EIF.
The Regional Office of Education supports Feeding Our Kids through the printing of resource materials, fliers and other information that goes in the weekend bags.
