2020 Recipe Challenge

Julianna Jung’s Peanut Butter Financier

Holiday season is just around the corner, and to help raise awareness about food insecurity and Feeding Our Kids, we are kicking off a new idea for 2020: a Recipe Challenge, based on the items we provide in our food bags.

To help kick this off, we have local celebrity baker Julianna Jung!!! You may have recently seen her showing off her skills on national television!

Here are the recipes from our amazing participants:

  • Carmel Pretzel Candy Bites
  • Peanut Butter Financier

Do you have a favorite holiday dish recipe? Or are you looking for some new inspiration?  It is your time to shine and be creative!

For this challenge, you will make a dish of your choice (entree, side dish, dessert, or snack) using one or two of our food items as the main ingredient.

We would love to see what you create! Share pictures or videos of your dishes and recipes with us on Facebook and Instagram.  Make sure to tag us @feedingourkids and include #fokrecipechallenge.

Good luck, everyone!
