Jenna Mahoney is one of our new board members.
Q: How did you first become involved with FOK and why do you continue to be involved?
A: I first found out about Feeding Our Kids when I was a school social work intern in Unit 4. I then became a school social worker in another town in our community and saw the need for Feeding Our Kids. The organization was so flexible and supportive in providing our families food, and continue to do so. I am so grateful for Feeding Our Kids, and am happy to continue working with them!
Q: What do you do outside of Feeding Our Kids? (Job, family, organizations, etc.)
A: I am a school social worker. I am married and have an amazing labradoodle named Rue Roux. I enjoy hiking, and camping, as well as just generally being outside and being active.
Q: Tell us something unique about yourself (hobbies, fun facts, talents, etc.)
A: I love, love to travel. I feel like the greatest gift that keeps on giving is travel. I always learn so much about culture, people, and myself when I travel.
