Matthew Hausman is our Executive Director. Here is more information about him.
Q: How did you first become involved with FOK and why do you continue to be involved?
I first became aware of Feeding Our Kids when they were searching for an Executive Director in early 2019. I was looking for a leadership role in an organization focused on youth, and Feeding Our Kids turned out to be a perfect fit. (Luckily, the board thought so as well.) I continue to be involved because I want to see the organization continue to grow and improve in order to be as much of a positive impact as possible for our local youth.
Q: What do you do outside of Feeding Our Kids?
A big part of my time outside of FOK is spent helping out on the family farm. Aside from that, I try to volunteer when possible with other events and organizations in the community.
Q: Tell us something unique about yourself (hobbies, fun facts, talents, etc.)
Prior to joining Feeding Our Kids, I spent a year and a half traveling around the world, working and volunteering with a wide variety of organizations. As part of that trip, I visited all seven continents.
